Giving Tuesday

On this Giving Tuesday, we are reaching out to ask for your support. Our community relies on the compassion of people like you.

Every day at Commonsense Childbirth, we meet mothers and families who are doing everything they can but still face barriers that put their health and safety at risk. Through our Safety Net Funds, we make sure that no one is ever turned away from the Easy Access Clinic™, The Birth Place, or our programs across the National Perinatal Task Force and the Commonsense Childbirth School of Midwifery.

Your support doesn’t just help. It transforms outcomes.

Across the country, Black mothers and babies face the highest risks in pregnancy and birth. In Florida, low-birth-weight and preterm births remain far too common indicators of deep disparities that have persisted for generations.

At Commonsense Childbirth, the story looks different.
In 2024, out of all patients served, we saw fewer than 1% premature births and only 4 low-birth-weight babies. All of whom survived.

We also recorded zero maternal deaths and zero neonatal deaths. That’s what safe, community-centered care makes possible: healthier pregnancies, safer births, and stronger families.
